Optional Insurance Coverage

Optional coverage is available to customers. You should consider purchasing the coverage very carefully, as it can greatly increase your access to benefits in the event of an accident. Coverage limits were reduced significantly in June 2016, and many people who have been catastrophically or seriously injured, but not deemed Catastrophically Impaired under their auto insurance, may find that they run out of benefits before they recover from their injuries. In most cases the increased coverage is very reasonably priced and offers excellent value in the event of injury resulting from a car accident.

The policy owner has the option to purchase additional accident benefit coverage to increase the insurance coverage they will have in the event of personal injury in a car accident as follows:

  1. Medical, Rehabilitation and Attendant Care Benefits:
    1. Increase to $130,000 (for Non-Catastrophic Injuries)
