Not-for-porfit organizations play an integral role supporting the victims of serious accidents.

When you or a loved one suffer from injuries and disabilities it can be very difficult to know where to turn for help. In Waterloo Region we are truly fortunate to have a wide network of organizations that provide high quality care, guidance and support.

The medical care that you get will help to heal the immediate physical injuries, but long term rehabilitation, emotional support for you and your family, and vocational help must be accessed by the victim and their family. There isn't a clear map for every person's individual needs. While your lawyer, medical team and friends may have some knowledge there are groups that can help you map out a real road to recovery.

Here is a list of professional services and support organizations. I truly hope that you never need to refer to it, but if you or someone you know is struggling to find help please check it out and feel free to pass the information on.
