Tomorrow wraps up Canada Road Safety Week as Ontario OPP report the highest road fatalities in a decade. Causes of deaths on the roads are speeding, not paying attention and drug/alcohol use. Please pay attention to the road when you are driving and slow down. Don't drink and drive.

If you have sustained a serious injury in a car accident, you'll need a team who can support you during this difficult time. Call our experienced personal injury lawyers today for your free initial consultation.

Canada Road Safety Week: Safer You. Safer Me.

We are now in Canada Road Safety Week, a 7-day national campaign aimed at making Canada's roads the safest in the world. This annual awareness campaign is designed to increase public compliance with safe driving measures in order to save lives and reduce injuries on Canada’s roads. The focus of this campaign continues to be on the elimination of impaired driving, distracted driving, aggressive driving, and driving without a seatbelt.

This year’s campaign offers as a strong reminder that the decisions drivers make not only affect them, but also their passengers, other drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians with whom they share the road. Too many drivers make their choices based on the level of risk they are personally willing to accept, with a total disregard for the risk they pose to others. That’s why this year’s campaign theme is “Safer You. Safer Me.

During Canada Road Safety Week 2022, drivers are reminded to keep their eyes on the road, keep their hands on the wheel, keep their head focused on driving, and keep the safety of themselves and others in mind when they make decisions at the wheel.

"Insert a personalized quote here”, says "Insert name, Insert title".

The "insert name of police service" is proud to be participating in this year’s Canada Road Safety Campaign. While this public safety initiative is part of a national effort to help advance Canada’s Road Safety Strategy 2025 to make Canada’s roads the safest in the world, we are confident that our local efforts will help make the roads here in "insert community name here" among the safest in Canada.
